Instructables: Make damn cool stuff
This is absolutely fantastic:
Instructables is a step-by-step collaboration system that helps you record and share your projects with a mixture of images, text, ingredient lists, CAD files, and more. We hope to make documentation simple and fast. Show your colleagues how to operate a machine, show your friends how to build a kayak, show the world how to make cool stuff.
This site is something like a better-organized, more practical version of MAKE: Blog and I’m loving it. While I don’t currently have a bicycle or video camera to mount anywhere, it’s damn fun reading step-by-step instructions on how to do just that.
Things get even better when the contributors add video and other media. I’m impressed, to say the least. My search for a one stop Electromagnetic-Actuator-and-Georgian-mountain-dumplings how-to site is complete. And they taste terrific.
