How smart are you, really?
MetaFilter was kind enough to point me to this page, which features a different kind of “Mensa Test.” No longer am I left staring at stupid images of wayward hexagons and prime numbers.
Instead, there is a series of 30-some-odd cryptic questions, such as:
24 H in a D (24 Hours in a Day)
And 64 S on a C B.
Alone, I was able to get 18. Mum and I had at it for a total of 25, and I read two from Metafilter itself. See what numbers you can pull. And don’t give up so easily—some are creative cultural references, and most you’ll get if you start thinking and staring long enough. Meanwhile, beware that one or two are biased against Americans. Good luck with number 31: 6 B to an O in C (6 balls to an over in cricket)
Post your results here, won’t you?
